We even documented several videos of repairs, work, and trips that we took on her. (See the video tab for links to them and you can see the work that we put into her) along with a Blog where we wrote about some of the projects, upgrades,s and refit work we did for her. Condition
The Boat has not been actively used for a few years now. We bought a new boat and with the best intentions, we just don’t have the time to dedicate to this Gulfstar. She likely needs a really good bath and scrubbing after having sat now for some time. Hull Is without damage, She will need a good wax, and was repainted 7 years ago. Bimini and sail covers will need a good washing or even replacing and the isinglass is cracked in some of the cockpit enclosures. When we last cruised on her, she was a capable and working sailboat. We loved the way this boat sails (more so than our 51′ ft Formosa) and was a GREAT cruising boat. She just needs some cleaning a bit of care and some weekend work to bring her back to the way she was on our last 13-day cruise on her.
